 The Gaslamp Quarter is home to some of the West Coast’s finest restaurants! On Saturday, June 17^th, you will have the opportunity to discover, savor, and indulge in dozens of these incredible establishments in just one day! The Gaslamp Quarter Association is pleased to announce the 23rd Annual Taste of Gaslamp, San Diego’s original culinary tour! Starting at 12:30p.m. for VIP ticket holders, and 1:00p.m. for General Admission Ticket holders, guests can indulge in over 20 restaurants complete with a rooftop afterparty at Altitude Sky Lounge, or upgrade to a VIP Pass, giving them added “eating time” and access to 6 more VIP locations, complete with a larger portion-sized bite and cocktail, after party, and a Gaslamp Quarter Goodie Bag.

   Over 20 Gaslamp Quarter restaurants will be featured with delicious morsels of their house specialties, with restaurants like barleymash, Spike Africa’s Fresh Fish Grill & Bar, The Field Irish Pub, “BEST AMBIANCE 2016” winner Café Sevilla, and “BEST DISH 2016” winner Rustic Root, just to name a few.  The 23^rd Annual Taste this year is especially exciting with guests having the opportunity to taste veteran restaurants that have carved out their place in San Diego’s culinary bedrock, as well as newcomers, American Junkie, Dough, and for VIP ticket holders, Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine! From 4:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. guests can end the evening at the Altitude Sky Lounge with a complimentary brew tasting while taking in one of the best views of San Diego. 

   Ticket holders will receive their official Taste of Gaslamp Program, our guide to all the wonderful restaurants and culinary events available during the event. General Admission tickets give guests access to over 20 restaurant samples and are available online at tasteofgaslamp.com for $30 in advance and $40 on the day of the event. For only $60 ($70 day-of), guests can upgrade to a VIP Pass to gain access to a longer “tasting time,” 6 additional fine dining restaurants with a cocktail at each location, and a VIP Gaslamp Quarter Goodie Bag. Ticket holders will check in at Gaslamp Square (170 Sixth Avenue). At check-in, General Admission guests will receive a wrist band, and event program with a walking map of this self-guided epicurean escapade throughout the historic Gaslamp Quarter. VIP guests will also receive a wristband, program, and a Gaslamp Goodie Bag packed with promotional items from around the historic Gaslamp Quarter, celebrating its 150^th anniversary!
